Monopoli, the last fishing port before Brindisi, has an historical centre which is very well preserved and protected by its castle strategically placed in front of the sea. Lose yourself in the maze of narrow streets, including churches, palaces and typical tower houses.

The architectural beauty of the city must be added the natural one, 13 km of coastline full of coves and sandy beaches and a campaign characterized by the massive presence of olive groves and dotted with old farmhouses.

Following the coast from Monopoli to Savelletri you can see beaches and coves, rock art sites, Egnatia and its Roman ruins. A little further south there is Torre Canne, once a small fishing village. More than 50 km of coast between Torre Canne and Brindisi are characterized by a succession of sand dunes and short stretches of rough rock on which have been created the Regional Natural Park of Coastal Dunes and the Natural Reserve of Torre Guaceto.
